This modern interpretation has been carefully developed by Diti J. Morgan through years of research into traditional perfumery, magical practice, and the psychology of scent. Rather than attempting to recreate a historical formula, Ruthvah seeks to evoke its spirit: mysterious, magnetic, sensual, and profoundly alive.
At the heart of the perfume are three extraordinary accords.
Animalia provides the deep, instinctive character traditionally associated with civet, lending the fragrance its primal warmth and subtle erotic current while remaining entirely cruelty-free.
Animal-free Musk forms the living body of the perfume, creating a soft, velvety aura that lingers close to the skin and develops uniquely with each wearer.
Ambergris contributes the rare oceanic radiance for which Ruthvah has become known. Smooth, luminous, and quietly intoxicating, it evokes tides, moonlight, salt air, and the mysterious depth of the sea.

Morgan is the author of Aroma Magic, an artisan perfumer, aromatherapist, and practising witch whose work explores the meeting place of fragrance, ritual, mythology, and altered states of consciousness.
